Mets extend Triple-A deal with Buffalo for 2 years (AP)

The New York Mets have extended their Triple-A minor league affiliation with the Buffalo Bisons through 2012. The extension was announced Wednesday, and adds two years to the partnership which began last season. Mets chief operating officer Jeff Wilpon noted the success the Bisons have had in developing the team's prospects.
