Wright in need of All-Star voting spike

David Wright, still second among NL third basemen, fell from roughly 122,000 votes behind Placido Polanco of the Phillies to his current perch more than 175,000 votes back, according to voting totals released Tuesday. But the race remains one of the closest in the National League.
