FILE - In this Aug. 24, 2007 photo, San Francisco Giants pitcher Noah Lowry(notes) throws to the Milwaukee Brewers in the first inning of a baseball game in San Francisco. Lowry, 29, hasn't pitched in two years because of a variety of issues with his forearm and shoulder and is set to make a comeback bid.

Left-hander Noah Lowry is in great shape and gearing up for what he hopes will be a successful comeback to the majors this season after missing the last two years. Still, Lowry opted to push back a scheduled throwing session Tuesday in Arizona for major league teams to give himself more time to get ready for the audition.
